There are several known, minor problems with Free Text version 1.1, which I plan to fix in some future version. (I am refraining from attacking them now because I want to think about the best way to address them, because they are minor and won't affect most users, and because I hesitate to make last-minute changes for fear of introducing new and more serious bugs. The highlighting error in the Text View when browsing non-TEXT files has (I hope) been fixed in FT1.1.
ΓÇó If a user opens a file for indexing or browsing which is already open (e.g., if one tries to index this stack, or browse the Browser stack) then when indexing or browsing finishes and my XFCN closes the file, a subsequent crash is likely. (I could refuse to allow indexing or browsing of an already-open file, but that seems unnecessarily harsh; I envision potential problems with other solutions, but will keep thinking about it for a while.)
